Working alongside other Schools within the University I helped project manage and launch this exciting range of level 4 awards. With responsibility for the overall supervision of the HCM Cert HE programme, it falls to me to ensure it runs smoothly, from organising and supporting the academic staff, to delivering a high quality student experience and everything in between. It's a busy but exciting role where I am fortunate to work with fabulous people every day in a truly supportive and collaborative environment while being able to make a difference to our dedicated students who continually inspire me.

As before, but alongside my lecturing role, I wrote and led modules and took on a greater role in the running of the Undergraduate programme.

I am working with students on the Healthcare Management Degree at Arden's London study centres, to help adult learners engage with key concepts and bring lessons to life using the most up to date strategies to support active learning. Arden is an innovative private University with study centres around the UK and abroad, offering a wide range of flexible Higher Education courses endorsed by professional bodies. Previously a family run business, known as RDI, it partnered with Universities until it became the only distance (online) learning university to launch within the UK in 50 years. The university has experienced phenomenal growth over the last few years and won several awards both in the UK and abroad. Arden works hard to remove barriers to Higher Education, inspiring new ways to learn. It's mission is to provide wide educational access and to change people’s world through innovative, modern learning, which fits wholeheartedly with my own ethos and approach.

Advances in knowledge and clinical techniques coupled with breathtaking technologies make modern healthcare one of the most exciting industry sectors around. The highest standards of clinical practice are underpinned by sound knowledge and education. At ICST we believe it is imperative to keep up to date with these new technologies whilst revising the fundamentals of science which underlie them. As an independent team of clinicians and academics, we deliver high quality online medical education to keep clinicians at the forefront of medicine.

At a time of huge change for this organisation, I was part of the management team as well as on the academic staff. I was responsible for ensuring a good student experience and helping students to use their judgement, to become independent learners and to understand the importance of critical thinking in this difficult and unregulated profession.

As a general practitioner of Nutritional Therapy my private practice had an international reach. It was built entirely on referrals and managed by a waiting list. I gave talks and workshops to corporate clients and was a part-time lecturer in human physiology.

As well as my caseload of 250 files, I worked on high profile and multi party cases. I supervised trainee solicitors and had the privilege of working with some of the most educated solicitors, barristers, medical and other experts of the day.

I reorganised and ran an audit group of 150 people (aged 19), I helped set up a new company and built up another from its infancy. At 23 I took over from my employer (a solicitor) who became ill, and this started my career in law, where I settled for the next 10 years.
