Create content for and manage all operations of the Museum’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and Youtube Shorts channels, with a cumulative audience of over 500,000.Developed a social media strategy, content calendar, launched a TikTok channel and developed a regular short-form video presence within the first 6 months. Produce, edit, and film short-form video. Design graphics for informational carousel posts, as well as event promotion to optimize for Stories. Co-organized a team of internal topic experts to collaborate on social content to establish the Museum as an authority on various science topics. Coordinate influencer visits to increase visibility and brand awareness. Manage long-term campaigns with select creators, including Shermann “Dilla” Thomas and Brick of Chicago, to evolve brand relevancy.
