I found my voice with competitive debate. After 7 years of signing up for every tournament possible, I transformed from the shy kid who wouldn't speak in class to the student whose hand went up every 5 minutes in government class. Through competitive debate, I've honed my research and communication skills and completed complex mental gymnastics to argue for sides I've disagreed with. I've also won the 2022 National Speech and Debate Tournament in Worlds Schools Debate with my team "West Los Angeles Violet."I am a third-year student at Grinnell College pursuing degrees in political science and spanish, and a career in law. After class, you will find me talking to Iowan Ranked Choice Voting supporters or crashing a class to hear an alum talk. I also am the Socio-cultural chair for Grinnell's Jewish student organization and am currently working on advertising campaigns for Debbie Babb Law.
