Projects have included working with Inception Group, Path Entertainment, LEGO, Battersea Power Station, Dorling Kindersley and Team 17.I co-founded Imaginarium Design to take a step into the broader world of experience design. We were increasingly being contacted by other companies to design experiences for diverse purposes, from education to brand engagement, and set up this agency to handle these projects. I continued managing the whole creative process but now working with clients, their briefs, and having more opportunity to push the definition of the concept. It’s here I’ve gotten comfortable building relationships with clients to bring their wishes to life with professionalism, innovation and warmth.

I co-founded this venue when I was 21 because I wanted to design escape rooms, so I made a role for myself. I was solely responsible for the creative process of developing our experiences; conceiving the idea, research and mood-boarding, designing all details from set to script to interactive content, sustainably sourcing materials and props, ensuring precise fabrication and construction, and actually running it! I evolved from completing every aspect of the build, artistic to electronic, myself in the first year, to project managing a diverse team on builds in later years, along with leading a collaborative design process. To work effectively, I developed methods to communicate both conceptual ideas and practical designs clearly for others to work accurately from. My role also involved sharing the business’ operative responsibilities, including advocating for the creative strategy while considering commercial factors.In lieu of design training, a fortuitous knack for the nuances of piecing together an experience design, utilising personal interests of puzzle design, interior/set design and creative writing, enabled me to achieve success from our earliest work and I grew from there. We achieved widespread recognition, both in terms of the quality of our feedback, and by winning a number of awards. We were also invited to speak at both the UK and European industry conferences.
