As a qualified Visual Communication Designer (Bachelor with Distinction) based in Newcastle, NSW, I find immense joy in contributing to projects that aim to make a positive impact on the world and better the lives of their communities.Currently, I serve as the Marketing & Graphic Design Officer at St Philip's Christian Education Foundation, where I have the privilege of working within a passionate and wonderfully talented team of communicators, designers and creators. In my position I have the opportunity to partner with a wide range of different sectors within the St Philip’s Christian Education organisation from early learning and before and after school care to tailored education and tertiary. It is here I am able to utilise my skills in graphic design, events management, marketing, communications, and admissions strategies.I also balance freelance work through my personal design brand - Katie Anna Design, where I delight in the opportunity to collaborate with a purpose-driven organisations, brands & their people crafting personalised design solutions. I thoroughly enjoy the hours I spend in this work and am grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow in my skillset in new ways each time. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with a diverse range of industries, including education, faith-based organisations, not-for-profits, small to medium businesses, and start-ups. This varied experience has strengthened my ability to craft brand identities that authentically reflect the values of each organisation and resonate with their specific audiences.I am passionate about creating tailored and meaningful design solutions that help organizations communicate effectively and connect with their audience. My expertise spans branding, visual identity, print and layout design, website design, hand lettering and digital illustration.
