Reappointed by the City Council to this volunteer role serving the City of Menlo Park. The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on land use, zoning, development proposals, and long-term planning to ensure orderly and sustainable growth within the city.

I develop strategies and programs that empower how LinkedIn connects with our communities.In early 2023, I became the leader of Global Workplace Strategic Initiatives after successfully attaching all specific programs I've created or led to other parts of the organization to continue to scale, while continuing to focus on global community affairs in the cities where our largest offices are located.The three accomplishments I'm most proud of in my time at LinkedIn: 1) Creating our Community Development programs including initiating the first tech company affordable housing investment that catalyzed two Mountain View, California, affordable housing communities, an investment concept that was then scaled up by larger peer companies in Silicon Valley and Puget Sound, resulting in thousands of affordable homes now occupied by local families.2) Creating LinkedIn's Global Environmental Sustainability program including successfully advocating LinkedIn take on industry-leading climate commitments of carbon negative, water positive, and zero waste by 2030. 3) Land use entitlement strategy and successful development agreement execution for the LinkedIn Middlefield Campus development enabling LinkedIn to develop a cohesive campus. At the time in late 2018, this was the largest land-use entitlement in the city's and the company's history. Between 2019-2023, in addition to local Government Affairs, Community Development and Environmental Sustainability programs, I was responsible for our Food & Hospitality, Travel, and Commute program strategies and on an interim basis for most of 2020, I served as Workplace Operations Leader for the EMEA & LATAM region. This resulted in all our programs and services evolving to greater sustainability ambitions and finding ways to ensure all programs enhance our local communities. While I was on interim assignment in Ireland overseeing LinkedIn's Workplace Operations for much of 2020, I learned a lot about leadership and resilience having navigated early stages of the pandemic with our regional and global leaders.

In our largest Workplace communities, I focus on local government affairs and creating positive impact to enable our community to thrive. Our team also leads our Enterprise-wide Environmental Sustainability program. We work closely with our Public Policy and Social Impact teams to be part of the solution to our community challenges. Every member of the community deserves to be heard; I'm here to listen and collaborate about how LinkedIn can operate successfully within the community and become a valued neighbor.While in this specific position, my greatest professional accomplishment was navigating our land use strategy to gain land use entitlements for LinkedIn Middlefield campus in Mountain View. At the time in 2018, this was the largest land use entitlement in the city's history.

I started at LinkedIn as an independent consultant to initiate our local community program. Transitioned to full-time employee 8 weeks later.

City Council appointed civic board position which makes housing and commercial land use decisions for properties in Menlo Park as well as form recommendations to council on land use and development parameters. Served as Planning Commission liaison to two Housing Element Updates to support Menlo Park's adherence to state required housing allocations through their Housing Element. Served as Chair of the Commission from March, 2012 - May 2013 through approval process of the El Camino Real Downtown Specific Plan and the move of Facebook Headquarters to Menlo Park. Reappointed to 2nd four year term in September, 2012.

Coordinated District Office functioning for Congresswoman Jackie Speier, including management of the team, casework and field work assignments for district staff, and worked collaboratively with the legislative office in Washington, DC on the Congresswoman's initiatives and priorities. This includes frequent communication and collaboration with federal, state, and local agencies, community based organizations, and constituents. Duties include organizing district outreach events, coordinating the Congresswoman's district calendar, and representing the Congresswoman at public events around the district.

Assisted constituents in resolving issues with federal agencies, represented Congresswoman Speier at community events, communicated with constituents on policy issues, and planned Congressional events. Established and maintained strong community relations, and worked within a team environment with both the district office and Washington DC staff members regarding all aspects of office functioning. Spearheaded innovative program for job seekers with multi-agency public/private collaborative effort to help unemployed constituents called the Job Hunters Boot Camp where several thousand constituents have received employment support.

Taught indoor cycling classes weekly, was the team leader for Palo Alto YMCA Indoor Cycling instructors and launched a new instructional program for Indoor Cycling. Launched Women's Triathlon Club and coached the team in 2007. Lead five women to completion of their first triathlon in 2007. Fundraising Campaign Volunteer 2007-2008.

Media Relations, including press release writing, distribution and briefings. Responsible for all campaign volunteer and Central Committee Member communications, and communications and promotional support for event planning and fund raising activities throughout the 2008 Presidential Campaign.

Contract work (including professional and pro bono work) with nonprofit and small business clients where I coordinated communications and public relations, media relations, special event planning, and fundraising.

Provided individual mental health counseling to college students as second year practicum work as part of graduate education.

Counseling for individuals, couples, and families in clinic setting and on elementary school site. Included mandated clients from law enforcement and child protective services.

Wholesale manufacturer's representative for numerous housewares manufacturers selling to the retail trade in Bay area.
