I have a bio. that was here that’s readily available elsewhere. Usual stuff. Looked at it the other day and thought this tells you not a thing about ME…other than I hated faxing when I was in PR 25 years ago, and at the age of 19 a strategic career move to solve for this was to traverse across the road (literally...St Kilda Road) to advertising from PR where you can just pay for media space and not send out 100 faxes in hope and thought it was a stroke of genius. I've had a cross functional career since then which I am fortunate to have had.I am the Founder and Director of Equity Hive where I work with early stage female founders and additionally take interim part time c-suite roles. I’m prolific angel investor, NED, Board Advisor and advocate for mental health and equity. I mentor for accelerators in AU and the UK that are focussed on female founders.I am not good at everything (list available on request) - who is?!Like everyone, I’m a work in progress. My biggest lessons and learnings (and challenges) come from my children as they grow and their curious minds expand and challenge my thinking. They are my greatest achievement. 2023 was a big year of essentially learnings, but without them I wouldn't be in a position where I have a mindset that actively enables me to wake up and choose the story I live in each day.I'm incapable of just being myself...I walk around looking for my phone whilst talking on it (you could have told me Conor!), I lose my keys hourly (AirTags were made for me), my house looks like a tornado has been through most days, I am literally living the Hunger Games…but what you see is what you get. No mask. I have an exhaustive list of my career history for those who can find the energy to scroll down, but I am a tenacious, agile and somewhat unassuming (or perhaps underestimated) operator who thrives on adding value and making a difference with the individual clients and organisations I work with. I am proud of my re-engagement rates that come from delivering outcomes. The biggest compliment is the accelerator alumi seeking me out after the programs end to work with them as continue on their journeys.Nothing happens in isolation, I am appreciative of my referral network and some of the bright minds I collaborate with.
