    Project: The OutsiderI learnt an incredible amount about the underlying construction, systems and design of a next generation console game from start to near completion.With Frontier I had forged a strong position for myself within a large design team, both with the quality of my work and by helping out other designers with the more technical aspects of design. I always provided accurate estimates for my work and delivered it on time.While working on The Outsider, I worked closely with script writers, concept artists, animators and programmers to develop main story levels from my initial concept to final delivery. I responded well to feedback, and worked with my Lead and with the games' publisher to unify game flow and craft an enjoyable experience for the player.My strong technical background and ability allowed me to create a niche role in understanding and implementing core game mechanics. A key example of this could be found in my input in the design of the mark-up system used to identify spatial data for animation and AI. This involved designing, implementing and documenting a new tool pipeline that integrates with core game systems and evaluating its use by non-technical designers and artists.
