I hold a BSc (Hons) In Forensic Investigation from the University of Winchester in which I became competent in crime scene and evidence analysis and recovery as well as multiple forensic disciplines. During my final year, I completed my undergraduate dissertation researching different stages of cremation of bone and the recovery of tool marks using a silicone-based casting medium.I also hold a MSc in forensic Anthropology with distinction in which my specific area of interest is cremated remains and recovery of tool marks and identification. My Master’s dissertation “The resilience of cut mark characteristics: an experimental study on the effects of fire exposure” also received a distinction and was accepted by the American Association of Forensic Sciences for presentation in their event in Colorado America. I currently work as a volume crime scene investigator with Dyfed Powys Police
