Provided support & guidance to 2020-21 Presidential team during Covid-19 pandemic. Stood in for President at a number of profession-wide committees & meetings. Played important role in planning & running of AVS & VDS-Training 'Student Surgeries' sessions to provide virtual wellbeing support to veterinary students.

This position allowed me to develop strong leadership skills while being personally responsible for a committee of 30+ students and chairing multiple AVS sub-committees. During this time, I was the sole student voice on several profession-wide committees, including BVA council and the RCVS Diversity & Inclusion Group. I also led a number of meetings with.

Responsible for AVS presence within University of Cambridge. Responsibilities included: - Organising ticket sales for AVS Sports Weekend & Congress, including arranging transportation & responsibility for all Cambridge delegates at events- Attending three AVS meetings per year, reporting on important university-specific updates & sitting on Policy.

Elected role with natural progression to 2019-20 Presidency. Year long position allowed for planning of Presidential year. Responsibilities included: - Sat on a number of committees, including RCVS EMS Committee & VSC Education Committee. - Chaired AVS Member Services Group. - Standing in for President on their absence at e.g. RCVS College Day, BVA Members.

Worked nights as a Dotcom picker whilst final year was postponed due to COVID-19. Had to meet strict individual targets alongside providing excellent customer service. Ranked in top five employees for performance indicators (team of approximately 30).

Responsible for planning and undertaking a series of weekly small group teaching sessions for first year veterinary students undertaking the ‘Principles of Animal Management’ course. Topics taught included basics of animal management, welfare, nutrition, behaviour and husbandry.
