About Katie Hazard

I thrive at the intersection of creativity, community engagement, and fun. As the Director of Art for Burning Man Project, I have shaped the vibrant canvas of Burning Man for over a decade. I am a driving force for community and capacity-building within my incredible network of artists. My two major passions are the arts and wellness/personal development; my career has been a mix of those two streams, with many inner and outer adventures along the way. I have lived in 4 countries, raised $15M for international women’s health at the Harvard School of Public Health, spent 100+ days on silent meditation retreats, was a founding member of an arts festival and an artist workspace in New England, I have a 6+ year streak on Duolingo, and I can find common ground with just about anyone. Recognized for my integrity and love of collaboration, I offer a unique combination of creativity and analytical skills with a strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Let's connect!
