Coordinated development and implementation of the UTeachEngineering high school course,implemented in schools nationwide. Developed project milestones, coordinatedactivities with project partners, and provided regular reports to appropriate parties.• Established a pathway for undergraduate students to obtain STEM teaching certifications inconjunction with their University studies. Created and managed a financial award program.

Coordinated the Environmental Science Institute public lecture series for an annual audience of approximately 2,500 people. Recruited and prepared speakers. Coordinated logistics, including a webcast of events, and published presentations online. Hired and managed program interns. Increased program funding by 25 percent through partnerships and grants.

Provided leadership and direction for the FLL program in Central Texas by coordinating the overall FLL program and Championship tournament, including a system of qualifying events; developing and leading the FLL Planning Committee and Championship tournament Committee; supporting teams and coaches; managing and recognizing volunteers; raising funds or assuring that sufficient funds are available to support the FLL program and events and fostering growth over time.

The Technology & Education Executive Council (TEEC) is a consortium of high tech industry executives and education leaders engaged in joint problem-solving on challenging workforce and education issues. TEEC pools the collective resources of its members and takes action, working with the entire K-16 education system to impact the quality of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in central Texas.
