Pitching everything F&B between bites.As an account supervisor of the Denver office, I handled client relations, managed a small team, and worked closely with our social media division. My day-to-day consisted of writing (pitches, press releases, media advisories, bios, advertorials, and more), media relations on a national and local level, and new business efforts. Client work included: Le Creuset, The Infinite Monkey Theorem, Old Major, Triple Creek Ranch (a Montana Hideaway), Flower Child (Boulder), Cured Boulder, Chef Jeff Oskaa (Sushi-Rama, 12@Madison, Osaka Ramen), Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Grimaldi's Pizzeria, QUIN Candy, STK Denver, Roka Akor (San Francisco, Scottsdale, Chicago), Fractured Prune, The Fontaine, a Kansas City Hotel and property restaurant, Parker.

As director of public relations at a boutique LoDo agency, I handled the PR side of a full-agency house. This involves extensive writing (press releases, media advisories, bios, advertorials, copywriting and more), media relations (building and maintaining relationships with local, regional and national media personnel, pitching, setting up TV shoots, product seeding), social media (client and agency), tradeshow relations and new business efforts. Client work has included: The Sky Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel, 39 Degrees, a Kimpton Restaurant, Cushe Footwear, Nalgene, USA Rugby, Project Angel Heart (nonprofit), Brand 44, CPI Card Group, Park Meadows Retail Resort, The Women's Foundation of Colorado, Park Meadows, Southwest Plaza, Mellow Mushroom, Bike Denver, Wonderbound Dance Company, Ollydog and more.

Handle social media pages for privately-owned dog food company. Involves brainstorming and creating posts for Twitter and Facebook pages while engaging with fans/followers. Community building for pages (garnering fans/followers on Facebook and Twitter).

While at SK+G, I handled management of accounts including Mars' Chocolate owned, Ethel M Chocolates, restaurant Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, Trump Hotel Las Vegas, and retail development Tivoli Village. Account management included building client relationships along with representation, media relations, event planning (from concept to execution), social media (handling of Twitter and Facebook pages) and extensive writing (press releases, media advisories, status reports, etc.). I was also the Editor of the agency's internal monthly newsletter, as well as manage and train multiple interns. I started as an intern on March 2006, was hired as Account Coordinator on June 2006, promoted to Asst. Account Executive in 2007 and promoted to Account Executive in 2008 before departing the company in January 2011 for my move to Colorado.

As account coordinator, my daily tasks included copying, file organization, assisted with research, handling all entertainment releases for major hotel/casino located in Reno, NV, assisted on agency newsletter, organized all client clip reports, handled all new hire releases and promotion announcements and working media check-in at events.
