What do I enjoy most about the roles I've had to date? The opportunity to develop relationships across a wide variety of sectors, and the pleasure that writing brings me - whether it's strategies, board papers, web copy, speeches, magazine articles, press releases, tweets...all are grist to my mill and I possess the happy knack of not only being able to write for different audiences (a basic PR skill), but to emulate people's style and tone. I'm not one to sit in a corner quietly; I am fascinated by organisational culture and how it shifts and moves, so I like to be out there, understanding the reasons behind developments and where the future will take us. Nothing is more interesting than change, and the behaviours which change brings - and like all true comms professionals I am stimulated by the challenge of engaging with and communicating change. I am extremely proud of working for the NHS, and yet also very grateful that I started my career at Ernst & Young, which was an excellent firm to grow up in.
