In my role at DHP I work within the marketing team, looking after a range of marketing for their concerts & festivals. I get to manage the marketing for a range of local & national concerts & tours, through running meta advertising, social media activity, physical marketing campaigns, gig listings, print campaigns & more. I have been managing the marketing for Dot To Dot Festival since 2022 (the 2023 event). A metropolitan festival taking place in Bristol and Nottingham with some of the hottest current emerging artists on the line up, D2D is an exciting festival to get the chance to work on. My role entails planning and carrying out all marketing activity from the very first artist announcement all the way through to the festival's on the day activity.

Passionate about gender equality in the music industry, during my time at uni I started up Music Gals, a podcast and Instagram account inspiring & supporting women and non-binary with an interest in going into the music industry. This project has allowed me to sit down and chat with so many amazing people working within it, to offer insight and support to those wishing to progress into these roles.

I took on the role of Music Editor at LeftLion magazine from Sep 2021 - Oct 2022. As part of this role I managed all music editorial content for the magazine through working with a lovely team of freelance writers & photographers to cover tonnes of amazing music going on locally. This involved working with promoters to organise press passes for shows & publishing these reviews online, alongside organising and carrying out interviews to publish in the physical magazine & online.

I worked at local Nottingham magazine LeftLion as Marketing & Editorial for their Kickstarter Scheme in 2021. As part of the role I supported in organising the ad placements within the magazine, through networking with a range of local businesses, supporting with graphic design editing for the ads themselves, writing editorial advertisement content & more. I also supported in creating and sending their weekly mailouts, and running their social media accounts. Alongside this I also supported in a range of editorial content, through interviewing and written pieces for the magazine, supporting in proofing the magazine & more.

During my time at university I worked on student label project Inter Music running digital marketing for artists releases.
