I teach online for the School of Education in the MA in Educational Technology program where I employ student-centric pedagogical practices to create a welcoming and supportive classroom environment. Courses taught include:• EDTC523 Information Design & Hypermedia: Students learn about best practices for web development as well as key elements of interaction, visual interface, and information design through creating a website for a global learning project.• EDTC524 Instructional Design & Development: Students learn core competencies related to the field of Instructional Design including analyzing goals and objectives, designing instructional materials, the ADDIE design model, evaluating learning plans and backward design principles.
