Supported the Fuel Manager and leadership teams in the end-to-end management of the fuel supply chain.Conducted daily data validation and transformation processes using a bespoke data management tool to deliver timely and accurate reports to the fuel and quality assurance teams. Communicated with a variety of key external stakeholders, adapting my approach to suit client and supplier process, and reporting requirements, ensuring contract terms were upheld and any disruptions to the supply chain were investigated and resolved promptly.Developed a standardised approach to annual reporting, to allow monthly analysis and billing to be fed into the model, reducing the administrative strain at year end, and reducing the risks relating to human error in data input. Conducted both quarterly and randomized supplier audits, which involved visiting supplier and strategic storage sites and maintaining stack declarations.

Supported the finance department of a not-for-profit company with a £3 million annual turnover.Analysed financial reports in order to transpose them to the accounts programme, including preparing journal entries, inputting invoices and credit memos, raising sales invoices and purchase orders, credit card reconciliation, daily B&C cash-up, and processing staff expenses and society journal transfers using Microsoft Dynamics Nav software.Undertook additional finance tasks such as events costing, BACs payments, deposits and dispenses using the Cash 360 Machine and conducting treasurer training for the society treasurers.Supervised opening and closing shifts, trained new staff and frequently managed junior team members.Performed ad hoc tasks such as room and transport bookings and lost property and vehicle log maintenance.

Placement year undertaken at Deloitte, where I was part of the Forensic Technology team. I developed technical skills on a range of software and coding languages and a variety of research and review skills. I supported an AML investigation, developing SSIS ETL and SQL database skills to an intermediate level, and used network analytics software such as IBM iBase and i2 analyst notebook to create visual graphical network deliverables. Teaching team members on how to use and interact with the graphical network database.I worked on a variety of document review projects for public and private sector clients which involved assessing priorities and summarising documents and sanction screening results.I assisted in organising and running a 12-session mentoring scheme for a group of students with the ThinkForward charity, this involved workplace visits and workshops.

A customer facing seasonal summer and weekend job at a popular tourist attraction, I was required to undertake a multitude of roles from till worker to barista to sat nav and as my experience grew I was given additional responsibilities, often left to oversee and lead other members of staff. As a key member of the team my inputs into various aspects of the business were valued, for example creating more child friendly cakes leading to increased sales. I always seemed to be asked the strangest questions by customers and so had to problem solve on a regular basis in order to deal with their curiosity and complaints.
