The combination of creativity and analytical problem-solving that is present in the field of game programming is both what fuels my own passion and my excitement for a lifetime of learning in the field.In pursuing a B.S. in Game Programing and Development, I built a foundation of knowledge in several programming languages: • C++• C# • Python • JavaScript I also gained first-hand experience using core development tools within the Unreal Engine. After a few classes, I was eager to apply my knowledge and take initiative on producing a mod for the game ARK: Survival Evolved. Currently, the three mods created all have a 5/5 star rating on Steam and a combined subscriber count of over 175,000. One of the most rewarding experiences during my degree progression was leading a 6-member team based around the world in creating a 2D platformer game prototype, Call of Cthululu.Having worked as a Junior Gameplay Engineer at Calypte, I've become familiar working with Perforce as source control and have experience creating game AI through both C++ code and using Unreal's Behavior Tree system. Working alongside so many talented, amazing people was an experience I will treasure and I hope the next step in my career adventure is just as incredible, so I look forward to hearing from you and the new opportunities for endless learning!
