Responsibilities:-Led on the strategic direction of digital services at The Audience Agency, developing a range of services to meet client needs and achieve the charity’s objectives.-Delivered consultancy services to clients and stakeholders, drawing on skills and resources from other parts of the organisation. Frequently work involves an element of primary quantitative or qualitative research to understand the existing audience or potential opportunity, and the outcome of this research is used to help inform the resulting consultancy advice. Services include the development of a digital strategy, insight into audience digital behaviours and/or assessment of the effectiveness of the current digital approach including assets and content, advice and guidance regarding digital evaluation and measurement - methodologies and approach. -Kept abreast of policy developments, the latest thinking, and best practice in this area.-Managed the work of partners or associates contracted to support service delivery.-Devised and implemented a business development strategy for the digital offer, which maximises strategic opportunities and income.-Developed and delivered TAA training offer around digital skills including in-person or online webinars & screencasts.-Contributed to developing TAA’s position as thought leaders in the area of digital strategy and engagement. To which end:o Wrote blog posts for TAA websiteo Explore opportunities for conference speaking and publishing on relevant websites & blogso Wrote a fortnightly (and oft-cited) newsletter, The Digital Snapshot, which highlighted latest news, innovations and best practice in the area of digital (5k+ subscribers)-Developed internal skills around digital, identify & provide specific staff training.
