I am an ambitious individual driving change in mental health and wellbeing within business, and the education sector; I run my own counselling practice and am a partner in the Affordable Counselling Group.I am a senior professional with eight years’ experience in the mental health sector and have extensive experience with supporting adults and children who are struggling with poor mental health. I am passionate about individuals being able to access support when the time is right for them and for increasing support for the local community around mental health and wellbeing. I have worked extensively with clients struggling with mental ill health, supporting individuals through the Primary and Secondary health care systems. I am passionate about early intervention and educating our young people about their own emotional wellbeing. Likewise, I am passionate about our educators being adequately trained and supported regarding their own mental health. I am:• A qualified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor • A highly skilled Mental Health Trainer working with schools and businesses in Kent• I support frontline staff in the local authority and private sector; with either workplace supervision or counselling• I deliver therapeutic groups in horticultural settings • I deliver West Kent Mind’s women’s therapy groupI develop and provide workshops to organisations, groups and individuals across the mental health and wellbeing spectrum. Sessions include Mental Health First Aid, Mind Fitness for Schools, Workplace Wellbeing and Resilience. Clients include Local Authorities, Schools, Education Providers and Corporate clients, such as AXA, and Direct Line.
