I am responsible for all aspects of company operations and board governance for the Minnesota Business Partnership, an organization of 110 Chief Executive Officers leading the largest companies in Minnesota. My duties include managing the non-profit company so it remains systematically healthy and fiscally sound. I direct the business accounting, budgeting, meeting planning, Human Resources and IT systems for the Partnership and five other associated companies. My role extends to elections and business climate through preparation of all campaign finance reports, research of current and emerging businesses and business trends and seeking prospective new members. In addition, I oversee the planing and coordination of monthly member meetings and the annual meeting and dinner. The annual event brings together 800 guests made up of MBP members and their C-Suite staff along with the Governor, cabinet, state legislators, mayors and community leaders. The dinner was named the best Corporate Entertainment Production by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter of the International Special Events Society.As the executive assistant to the CEO and administrative support manager for the company’s three policy directors, I keep staff and members communicating efficiently and smoothly. In this role I lead other MBP CEO executive assistants in monthly professional development and networking events and manage our new MBP Chief of Staff group. Past service has included serving on the Minneapolis Community and Technical College Administrative Support Advisory Committee, a group formed to revamp the school’s administrative track curriculum.
