At the UTS Business School, we encourage every student to explore the possibility of undertaking an internship or work integrated learning experience.

UTS Careers works closely with industry and faculties to facilitate programs and events that equip UTS students with key employability skills, as well as the knowledge and the confidence vital for success.

I delivered interactive employability workshops, events, and programs to UTS students. I also developed blended learning programs and modules.Highlights include: • Presenting on the UTS Accomplish Award at the Graduate Employment Outcomes and Industry Partnerships Conference 2020 and the NAGCAS 2020 Excellence Awards.• Receiving a Vice-Chancellor's Career & Professional Development Award for High Performing Professional Staff 2020.• Coordinating and facilitating the UTS Accomplish Award 2017-2021, which was a finalist in the Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards 2018.• Coordinating and facilitating the U@Uni Academy Hackathon 2020 in partnership with the UTS Centre of Social Justice and Inclusion• Coordinating Univative 2017 for UTS students, this program was a finalist at the Best Practice Awards for NAGCAS 2017.

• Consulted one on one with students to provide support and advice to assist them in seeking employment and other development opportunities this includes; providing feedback on resumes, cover letters, tips and information on attending assessment centres, interviews and general job seeking.• Facilitated workshops for small to medium sized groups on resume writing, interview skills and developing an online professional identity.• Created new content and collated existing content for resources on interviews, job application and LinkedIn that are accessible to students on CareerHub • Attended conferences/forums including: NAGCAS, LinkedIn Talent Connect, ACEN – WIL, Careers Forum for Students with Disabilities and CPP Asia Pacific Workshop on Self Awareness Assessments

• Promoted to an ongoing role following an internship• Provided training to new Talent Sourcers in recognition of training and leadership skills• Recruited positions in GIS, IT & Engineering across the private and public sector
