With nearly 20 years of experience as proposal writer, proposal database manager, investment thought leadership writer, and communications professional for a wide range of asset managers—often focused on emerging markets and ESG/sustainability—I started to recognize a need in the market. So, in 2020, I founded Sharp Proposals—a consultancy that works with small- to mid-size asset/investment managers as an extension of their firm, to provide full-scale RFP/DDQ solutions via writing, project management, and database implementation/management. Shortly thereafter, with the rise in demand for ESG and impact investments, this led me to found Sharp ESG—a consultancy that helps asset managers and other diversified companies map out their ESG content strategy, and create compelling thought leadership and other content/messaging to align with their mission, vision, and goals.In 2022, I had the opportunity to create and direct the program for the Inclusive ESG for Emerging Markets Summit in London, in conjunction with M+D Advisory and the Future Investment Initiative (FII). In 2023, I helped direct partner breakout sessions for Bloomberg’s annual New Economy Forum in Singapore. These events brought together world leaders, government officials, global heads of sustainability/ESG, CEOs, social innovators, and academicians to engage in vital conversations that will shape the future of the global economic and ESG agendas, and support investors with the tools and knowledge to drive sustainable, alpha-generating investment strategies.
