I am passionate about protecting public and environmental health from chemicals commonly encountered in consumer products and day to day life. • I have a strong foundation in chemical hazard assessment using systematic review methodology, especially the Office of Health Assessment and Translation framework. I have lead the development, conduct, and publication of three systematic reviews and/or systematic evidence maps related to chemicals of emerging concern including BPA analogues and PFAS. I have also served as a valuable team member on four additional systematic reviews and/or scoping reviews. • My excellent written and oral communication skills have made me an invaluable resource for a variety of stakeholders. The analyses I have conducted and reports I have prepared have been used by other scientists, as well as NGO partners and state agencies and legislatures engaged in discussions about health hazards to environmental chemicals. I have also served as a resource for citizens of communities impacted by exposure to environmental chemicals. I enjoy the challenge and excitement of adapting my communication efforts to these various audiences. • My graduate and post-graduate training using animal models of human disease and in vitro cell culture have given me the strong background needed to be able to critically evaluate the wide variety of studies encountered in the field of human and environmental health. • My passion to specifically protect vulnerable populations, especially infants, children, and expecting parents, stems from my background evaluating the effects of early life exposures to endocrine disrupting chemicals. As such, I have extensive experience evaluating health outcomes beyond traditional toxicological endpoints.
