I work under Joshua Spitz at Umich studying atmospheric neutrinos in paleodetectors, or ancient minerals.

I work on the CMS experiment at CERN specifically in the BRIL subgroup which focuses on beam radiation, instrumentation and luminosity data for the CMS detector. I designed an algorithm that quickly and efficiently detects anomalies in luminosity data for the pixel luminosity telescope, which consists of 16 channels of individual data. This algorithm also performs channel selection for each file of data.

I worked under David Schmitz at UChicago in collaboration with Fermilab on the SBND detector crafting a convolution neural network (CNN) to calculate energy of simulated muons with higher resolution than the traditional method.

University Of Michigan

I worked on the ATLAS project under Bing Zhou working on the sMDT chamber construction for the HL-LHC upgrade at CERN. I tested thousands of tubes before entering final construction, aided in the physical construction of the chambers, and learned the intricacies that go into building a particle detector of such precision.
