- Implement organizational best practices with regard to recruiting and managing high level volunteers, revenue generation activities, expense and fiscal controls and marketing/promotions and logistics resulting in chapter revenue growth and achievement of revenue goals.-Hire, train, manage and act as a resource to Campaign Managers, Specialist, and Campaign Assistants relating to their fundraising campaigns and efforts, as well as provide input for promotion, performance and termination of those supervised. - Oversee all aspects of large fundraising campaigns to include the School & Youth Programs, or special events.-Provide input into development of a strategic plan for the fundraising campaigns, including fundraising goals, budget recommendations, vendors, volunteer goals and timelines. -Act as an on-site manager during the campaign fundraising event, overseeing activities, staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure satisfaction of participants and resolution of problems. -Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS's mission and programs to promote the Society's fundraising, research and patient initiatives.

Responsible for assisting faculty with pre-award services, particularly with the development and submission of proposals for research, educational and other sponsored projects.Responsibilities include: interpreting guidelines for funding opportunities and applying these in proposal development and submission; developing and revising budgets for proposals using a variety of regulations, terms and conditions; assisting faculty with obtaining approvals for proposal submissions; advising and providing guidance to faculty in proposal development and submission procedures; and maintaining proposal information once submitted to agencies to take action when necessary.

Accountable for the achievement of income performance targets for a portfolio of Relay For Life events, including community feeder events.Responsible for effectively and efficiently completing activities and meeting target deadlines in order to execute successful events.Engages, trains and manages relationships with community volunteers to ensure successful events execution, with a focus on event volunteer leadership positions.Engages the community in Relay For Life to drive increased event participation - event committee, teams, team members, sponsors and survivor/caregiver - including youth engagement through teams in community events, Relay Recess and Field Day, high school Coaches vs. Cancer.Utilizes available tools and processes to maximize event results, including online fundraising.Ensures strong logistical coordination for assigned events.Facilitates volunteer retention and ensures meaningful volunteer recognition.Utilizes defined processes to ensure timely and accurate event data entry.Ensures compliance with ACS policies, including employment, risk management, event and cash handling, and financial controls.Works in partnership with ACS CAN, including efforts to increase ACS CAN membership.
