Hey there! I am an outgoing, hard-working lover of people and words with extensive experience in both customer-facing positions and editing of all kinds. An editing unicorn, some might say. In the first five and a half years of my career in book publishing, I worked my way up from a contract editor with no experience to the Executive Editor at a hybrid publishing company, producing top-tier products and ensuring our authors felt taken care of and championed every step of the way. I now project manage at a traditional publishing company, shepherding projects through the entire production process from contract to press and boast eight years of publishing experience.I pride myself in holding a standard of excellence and encouraging clients in equal measure, as writing and publishing a book is a daunting process. Thus, in my freelance work, I am both an editor and a cheerleader throughout the entire writing and publishing journey. I have produced many Wall Street Journal and Amazon best sellers and have extensive experience in shaping and sharpening writing through copy, content, and developmental editing. But most of all, the authors I work with say they feel championed and strengthened in working with me, and I couldn’t ask for a better reward than to know I helped the person behind the book.In the other part of my life, I’m a local worship leader, songwriter, and coach for writers and indie artists.
