Compassionate educator, learner, global community member, social justice advocate, writer and teacher. Passionate about cultivating inclusive, anti racist, equitable and culturally responsive learning environments for students with varying degrees of academic, social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. My classroom experience is broad, but the focus is always on equity and justice. I have taught a range of subjects to students from the ages of 3 to 21, including but not limited to special education, social emotional skills, vocational skills, employability skills, math, reading, drivers ed, ethnic studies, writing, current events, disability awareness, career investigation and more. I am looking for opportunities that will use my strengths in communication, education, and advocacy in a way that I can make a difference in my community.
