Project: Rethinking Sustainability Planning for HIV, Tuberculosis, malaria in Global Fund High-Impact Africa countries (funded by Global Fund). Conduct interviews with global- and country-level experts on sustainability and transition readiness and planning to propose process guide for improved, more holistic sector-wide sustainability planning process. Manage complementary technical assistance activities in South Africa: overseeing and guiding local consultant in national and provincial sustainability planning processes for HIV programming. Conduct research and technical assistance with another consultant in Ghana: scoping past benefit package additions, and mapping benefits packages of National Health Insurance Scheme and Essential Health Service Package against priority programs to establish foundation for conversations about potential integration of priority programs into government insurance schemes.

Managed BMGF-funded market diagnostic analysis for nutrition commodities at global level, and in five countries, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, synthesizing and presenting findings and results. Directly managed three team members. Business development for new work from various donors, secured new grant of over $2 million over two years from foundation.Provided technical oversight and project management on global health financing and systems strengthening projects funded by USAID. Health and hospital systems strengthening technical assistance to major African hospital; backstopping to team supporting another MOH to coordinate COVID-19 response and enhanced pandemic preparedness. Project management responsibilities included building/tracking workplans, reporting to donor, creation and monitoring of project budgets, projecting and monitoring spend-down. Managed multiple separate budgets concurrently and supported organizational business development.

Technical oversight and project management in global health financing and systems strengthening in Liberia, Ghana under USAID-funded Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator. Select activities included: supporting development of excel-based tool for costing primary care package, technical assistance to Ghana's Ministry of Health and its agencies on coordination of COVID-19 response in Ghana, project management and technical support to R4D’s pharmaceutical financing work under USAID’s Medicines, Technologies and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS). Recruiting and managing consultants, supporting business development efforts including proposal and budget development primarily for USAID opportunities.
