A highly accomplished professional, I have 20 years experience working with clients across a range of sectors with 15 of those specialising in civil construction. As part of the senior and corporate leadership teams, my role was to provide communications and marketing advice and develop strategy which positively positioned the brand and enhanced the reputation of the global civil contractor. I supported the successful issues management and risk mitigation of Australia’s largest privately owned civil contractor by providing direction to the Board, CEO, Executive Leadership and Senior Management team on best practice corporate affairs, marketing communications and engagement. With a highly collaborative approach, I guided and empowered a national team of highly skilled professionals to execute and implement engaging and results driven content campaigns. Core responsibilities of the role included oversight for all facets of external and internal communications and marketing including media, crisis communications, digital and social, employee communications, photography and videography, sponsorship and events. As a key custodian of the brand, culture and family oriented values, I effectively managed the dissemination of the unique employer value proposition to close to 2000 employees and a range of external stakeholders through strategic, targeted and relevant communications tactics.

As the most senior member of the Marketing team, I was responsible for overseeing the deliverables of a team of four which offered a range of marketing and communications services to the portfolio of brands within the BMD Group.

As an integral member of the Communications and Community Relations team for the $1.5 billion Legacy Way project, I delivered media and government relations, marketing, events, sponsorships and internal communications to positively position the large infrastructure project.

Promotion throughout employment from Consultant to Account Manager after successful planning and implementing a range of public relations, sponsorship, marketing and event programs, for a portfolio of clients and stakeholders across a diverse range of sectors. Brands I worked with included Warner Bros, Brisbane International Film Festival, Queensland Government, Cottee Parker Architects, Heart Foundation, Swimming Australia and Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.
