I worked as a Content Specialist on the Psychology Section of this publishing company. I ensure the success of various collections within these sections and encourage authors and researchers to submit. This is a fast-paced environment, often requiring adaptability in workflows and platforms as we are ever trying to create the most efficient way of attracting quality submissions. I was part of the Brain team working remotely. I had to make and present online presentations with infographics to show wider teams our growth and work. I would also create banners and material to promote research topics via email or via twitter. I would write and tweet on the Frontiers media platform. This role required confidence and organisational skills. This greatly improved my skills in being in front of the camera and I enjoyed being creative with powerpoint, promotion, email writing & grasping an audience virtually. Daily, I would use Salesforce to analyse data and submissions, as well as prioritise and manage my tasks.

I worked in the school transport office of this national bus company in Ireland. This required the hours of 9-5pm. This entailed the answering of many diverse queries, mainly over email and the installed phone system. I also worked on excel ensuring tickets were sent out correctly to customers, and registering children on bus routes. I enhanced my social skills throughout my time here, as I dealt with many diverse characters. Alongside this, I worked with directors of many schools, the department of education, bus drivers and contractors.
