Katie Wallis is a MSc Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment | Oxford University at S3 Ventures. She possess expertise in international relations, research, independent research, policy analysis, spanish and 16 more skills. She is proficient in Spanish. Colleagues describe her as "Since the first day of her internship Katie has excelled in every challenge given to her. She is able to analyze the pain points within a project and find solutions. For example, Katie completely revamped the QA Assessment that is given to all Deployment and QA candidates. She first started by redesigning the email creative and coming up with relevant content about Salesforce. After the design was complete Katie taught herself HTML and CSS and was able to build the email within our Marketing Cloud application. She then wanted to figure out a way to make the entire process less labor intensive for the recruiters, the applicant, and the QA Consultants that grade the assessments. By thinking outside the box, she created a website that hosts instructions to the test, creative assets and a place to submit errors that after hitting submit are automatically sent to a Google drive by using Google’s API and Google Scripts to be finished grading. She turned what was a very manual grading process for recruiters and Consultants to an almost completely automated system. In addition to her project, Katie has taken initiative to meet people within different departments of the Salesforce Ohana, to have a better understanding of the inner workings of the Company. She has been committed to doing volunteer activities around the Indianapolis community including Packing Away Hunger and helping at a local dog rescue center. She’s also extended her network within the Company while having fun and joining the Salesforce softball team. I am truly in awe and am proud of all that Katie has accomplished during her internship. Katie exemplifies the Salesforce Aloha spirit, while adding to the growth and innovation of the Company, she has also leveraged our 1/1/1 model. She has shown passion, leadership, enthusiasm, and self-motivation while having an extremely positive attitude. She has proven that she is a reliable, team player and would be an asset to any Salesforce team in the future. Not only did Katie learn a lot during her internship but Salesforce has also benefited from her hard work and dedication to this valuable project."
