In 2017 I jumped head first into CX, not knowing entirely what it entailed but knowing I have a true passion to do right by users/customers. No customer journey is perfect upon inception but the lightbulb moments, the brainstorming sessions, the mitigation of customer pain points and the deep empathy/customer connection lights a fire under me. Working with others on similar efforts whether cross functionally or directly has been highly rewarding and has provided the me the opportunity to lead staff toward common goals; "how do we marry the insights and the data to prove the customer impact?" "what is the art and the science?" "what is the breadth and depth of pain and how do we alleviate it?". One thing the CX journey has taught me is that customers expectations are ever evolving, there is impact to be made and ALWAYS something to learn.
