My name is Katie Whatley. I am a graphic designer, but I consider myself to be an artist first and foremost. For the past five years, my career has required me to work with my customers both near and far to satisfy their needs and to get their message across. As an artist I find that sometimes a hands-on approach to solving a problem can be prudent when going straight to the computer doesn’t seem to be the answer. Often, a pencil, marker, or pieces of cut paper can be helpful solutions to the right path, whether the problem is print or digital media.In the future I want to further my experience in digital and print advertising and make customers happy and have fun making commercial artwork and meeting new people.
