I chose a career in social work because I am passionate about creating positive change in communities. I am currently a renal social worker at a dialysis clinic. I previously worked in oncology and hospice settings, working within an interdisciplinary team to support patient care. It’s a privilege to support patients during what is oftentimes the most challenging season of their life. The first chapter of my career centered on serving college students and supporting them to reach their goals. My experience includes student affairs, academic advising, and leading the living learning community for the top engineering school in our state. I rebuilt a 600+ student community coming out of Covid and established new faculty and industry partnerships. I have a knack for cultivating student engagement and complex programming.I would love to connect with others working in the following areas:-Renal patient care and dialysis-Language accessibility in healthcare-Education advocacy organizations (early childhood, K-12, and higher education)-Consulting opportunities (student engagement, program development, soft skills coaching, copywriting and editing)
Listed skills include Leadership, Writing, Social Media, Student Recruiting, and 19 others.
