Katie Wozniak serves as the Vice President of Clinical Research for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, leading the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium of academic of excellence in the development and advancement of treatments for patients with multiple myeloma through innovative clinical trials and translational research. In this role, Katie is responsible for developing strategy and execution of clinical trial initiatives, including master protocols (e.g., adaptive platforms), partnering with both pharma and academia. She leads a team of clinical trial operations leaders overseeing dozens of trials. Katie is passionate about clinical trials, quality and healthcare compliance, completing graduate studies at Northwestern University in regulatory compliance.Previously, Katie served as system Director of Clinical Trials Research for Advocate Aurora Health. In this role, Katie was responsible for developing strategy and research operations teams in oncology, neuroscience and other specialty areas. With over 20 years of experience in clinical research operations within academic medicine, community healthcare and industry settings, Katie's leadership experience is both dynamic and extensive. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in U.S. history from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has completed graduate studies in medical history and pharma drug law at the University of Chicago, along with clinical trials and healthcare regulatory compliance at Northwestern University. A steadfast proponent of regulatory and quality compliance, she has led numerous clinical operations quality initiatives in the healthcare, medical device and pharma sectors. Passionate about leadership and engaging team members, Katie is a graduate of the Leadership Greater McHenry County, and actively volunteers in community non-profit organizations and causes.
