 Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, ill health, environmental incidents and the practical implementation of the company’s SHE policies.  Preparing and developing the Site Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan. Undertake programs of SHE audits of operational sites and offices. Participate as requested in “Company” health and safety audits.  Carried out HAZOP study for critical jobs and preparation of method statements & risk assessments  Monitor and report on the implementation of the company’s SHE policies and procedures.  Ensure that monthly SHE Scored Inspection visits are completed and follow-up in order to improve safety performance When requested, advise on the preparation of risk assessments / company Aspect Registers.  Investigating work accidents, injuries or occupational diseases to determine root causes, preventive measures and to share findings in the form of Best Practice. Assist in the collection/compilation of the company’s accident statistics.  Assist in the preparation and implementation of HSE training courses and ensure that staff with specific HSE responsibilities have received the appropriate training.  Liaise with the HSE, EA and other enforcing authorities and professional bodies. Coordinate general waste management issues on site and ensure compliance with the SHE Procedures & Guidance Manual with regards to waste.  Develop and conduct training to improve the level of awareness and compliance of Safety issues
