About Kati Kalmar

I am an enthusiastic and passionate individual, consistently showcasing outstanding communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills across diverse human-centered settings. Community is so important to me, and I firmly believe that we all bear a responsibility to extend a helping hand to our neighbors in any way we can.I am in my final year of graduate school at OISE/University of Toronto for Counselling and Psychotherapy. With my degree, I intend to pursue a career in psychotherapy with optimistic hopes to make mental health care more accessible to my community. I aim to achieve this through community education and collaborating with community leaders. I care deeply about helping others -- whether that means talking to, listening to, celebrating, or simply holding space for others. We all deserve to be seen and heard in this world.Outside of my studies and practicum, I love to bake, make ice cream, explore the east-end of Toronto with my husband, catch up with my friends/loved ones, and attend comedy shows and concerts.
