Being an anthropologist by my education, I tend to see and experience the world as a holistic entity in constant change. That is why I take my professional experience as a continuum of learning to know new things and people, managing new skills and widening my perspective. And this is why I like to jump into new projects, even from fields I haven't worked before in. Currently I am approaching creative and art industries and businesses development from two directions: 1) I am heading Uniarts Helsinki's pre-incubator programme for art entrepreneurs, and 2) I am preparing my doctoral thesis on business anthropology. My aim is to make research on the cultural&network dynamics in creative industries, especially among small and micro sized companies. As an entrepreneur and owner of Plikka since 2009 I originally created a model to work as an agent for small-scale digital media companies. I also took part in Sillanrakentajat development project and acted as president of AGMA ry, Agents and Managers in Creative Industries. After a couple of years in Finpro in between, I returned to entrepreneuship and headed AGMA as its CEO. Before this, I have in several occasions been involved with creative industries' business development, i.e. in University of Art and Design and Finpro. In Sonera and Cube Entertainment I took part in several projects in content production in online media, such as web concept planning, game production, communications strategy+process planning.
