The Immunotechnology group at the University of Potsdam is working on technologies to produce antibody molecules faster and more efficient. We developed a new selection technology with transgenic fusion cell lines. This technique allows a simple and early screening for antigen- or isotype-specific antibodies. Further, we developed tools for the generation of camelid heavy-chain antibodies as recombinant single domain or full lenght antibodies.
