Passionate about transforming ideas into impactful realities, I have spent over 20 years navigating the intricate landscapes of the African travel industry, leaving a trail of innovative projects and built strong relationships.With a deep-seated love for travel and an instinct for leadership, I’ve managed and grown diverse teams across multiple locations, spearheaded international sales and marketing campaigns, and led product launches that have set new benchmarks in the industry. My journey has taken me from the heart of Africa to Europe and the US, where I've successfully merged work and leisure, ensuring continuous growth and connection, regardless of the miles.Key Achievements:Building a Recognized Brand: I co-built a tour operator specialising in safaris across Southern, East Africa and Madagascar, growing the team from 3 to 120 employees and establishing a brand recognised in the European and US markets. My role extended to lodge development, where I was deeply involved in financial modeling, product placement, and engaging with investors. Through strong vision and purposeful leadership, I guided the team to success.Conservation Leadership: I implemented innovative conservation and community projects in the Hwange area of Zimbabwe and am a board member of the Conservation & Wildlife Fund Hwange. This organization is dedicated to protecting and expanding the wilderness buffer zones around Hwange National Park. Currently, I am actively involved in conservation and community work in the Mahenye Community, bordering Gonarezhou National Park, including efforts with the community-run Jamanda Conservancy.Commitment to Learning and Team Development: I have furthered my education with courses in executive coaching, driven by my passion for continuous learning and team development across diverse cultures.Looking forward, I am excited to continue driving impactful projects, building meaningful relationships, and exploring new horizons.
