Sammen med andre unge frontløbere, har jeg lært om aktivisme, menneske- og oprindelige folks rettigheder og andre presserende spørgsmål indenfor det såkaldte Rigsfællesskab. Med denne viden har vi lavet podcasts og udviklet projekter, der aktivt skal sætte disse rettigheder og spørgsmål i spil.

I facilitate social activities, dialog, debate, workshops and trips for international scholars and professionals at Danida Fellowship Centre. I love this job, because it gives me the opportunity to meet and learn from researchers and professionals from all over the world and create a space for social relations across different nationalities and academic disciplines. These meetings expands our perspectives by giving us a chance to realise that things are rarely as clear-cut as we were told.

I worked with the international dimension of the foundation's goal in promoting good living. Looking to supports students with a global outlook, I managed 4000 grant applications yearly. The job has given me experience in creating an overview when working with large amounts reading material, while stile paying close attention to the particularities and uniqueness of every single application.

In the Teachers Union, I counselled members in legal matters regarding social security during unemployment, illness and early retirement. This included giving members awareness of their rights and the requirements for fulfilling the conditions of social security. This job gave me experience in communicating complex legal matters in a clear and comprehensive way.

In this tiny, but busy flower shop, I created bouquets for our customers. I like flowers and plants for their aesthetics and for reminding us of the growth, resilience and transitoriness of life. And I enjoy the process of creating something with my hands.

During high school, I worked part-time in a garden center where I was taught how to make bouquets and flower decorations. After high school, I was hired full time, while I saved up money for travelling and courses at a Folk High School.
