After graduating with a certificate in journalism from Langara College, I took on a wide range of tasks including research, writing, reporting & social media. Recent assignments include articles for Reel West Magazine, Canadian Cinematographer Magazine, the Dutch-language monthly periodical De Krant and Kerrisdale Playbook, research for Counting Ants Film production and Agentic Digital Media, as well as a Dutch-language voice talent gig for Soundswrite. I ran Reel West's e-newsletter and social media accounts for nearly two years and helped Women in Film & Television Vancouver organize and promote a variety of workshops and mentorships in my part-time position as communications coordinator. I presently cannot accept any journalism assignments, but I am still available as a screenplay translator (German or Dutch to English).

Working with the executive director and the WIFTV board of directors, I communicated our activities with members, community partners and other local contacts. In order to promote the organization's diverse range of programs (workshops, mentorships, award shows, networking events, screenwriting contests and the annual Vancouver International Women in Film festival) I managed its website and social media pages and ensured a smooth administration.

As the editorial summer intern, I was assigned to edit and layout the print publication of Maandblad De Krant, the Dutch language monthly newspaper for Canada and the USA.
