About Katja Samara

Katja is an experienced leader and a circular economy veteran, helping organizations in their transition to environmentally conscious manufacturing and management. Katja is considered to be one of the top change makers when it comes to quickly building and managing sustainable innovation projects and organizations. She has been developing business in Europe, Asia, and USA. Being a teacher at heart Katja always seeks understanding, how organizations will benefit from changing to sustainable ways and communicate it efficiently to the right stakeholders. She is convinced that innovation, technology and creating of “conversation capital” (what people tell others about your project and organization) are essential to success of sustainability improvement projects and revenue numbers. Katja started new innovative projects, circular transitions, commercial operations, led, hired, and trained at companies like Sparebank1, Carrefour, Georg Jensen, and a considerable number of Nordic Municipalities and startups. Katja led several innovative and circular economy programs for C-Level management. Katja co-founded a successful circular economy tech company Loopfront, which is positioned among top three in the Nordics. She is convinced that people are the most critical resource for growth.
