I believe in the healing power of art. I use creativity in many aspects of my life, and find that people respond in a positive way when they are involved in rediscovering their own creative abilities. Art can help people where words might fail. As a retired Board Certified, Registered Art Therapist, I encouraged my clients to express themselves through their artwork, which creates access to thoughts and feelings that may be unavailable through words. Art helps connect the right brain and left brain. And I offer Creativity Coaching to individuals who might have lost their way along their creative path, or have an idea they want to bring to life but feel stuck. I enjoy leading workshops, combining my skills to facilitate groups that feel both safe and fun, to enable participants to really delve deep into their creative process. And people enjoy their finished artwork, which might be a handmade book, art journal, mixed media mosaic piece, a spirit wand, or a "collage gone wild." I also lead weekend or week-long retreats, in beautiful parts of the world, to allow the right brain to take over for awhile and to encourage people to find their creative voice.
