Revitalized database by auditing over 2000 naming opportunities in the hospital by cross-checking previous information with opportunities available; resulted in 84 spaces being added, valued at over 2.1 million dollars. Created creative briefing document to launch new “Grateful Patient” internal marketing campaign at HRH by conducting an environmental scan and performing secondary research, consulting other hospital foundations and completing GTA hospital site visits, leading to a presentation to the foundation preparing them for phase two of the campaign launch. Aided in the initiation of the inaugural Donor Awards at the Donor Appreciation event, by conducting industry research, sourcing awards from suppliers and creating a budget and work back schedule; resulting in the creation of 36 donor awards which aim at engaging donors.

Participated in several research projects that help improve patient safety in the hospital and improve the overall health of the community at large. Collaborated with research interns and the principal investigator to create an intervention bundle in order to reduce patient exposure to infectious diseases by observing rooms under isolation, interviewing health care workers and condensing data into a spreadsheet comparing pre and post implementation; resulted in its successful implementation at Sunnybrook hospital.Co-authored a successful research grant application for “Improving Healthcare Worker Adherence to Personal Protective Equipment Using Factor Design; A Multicenter Study.” Conducted an environmental scan on best practices for writing lay research summaries by consulting experts and online resources which lead to the successful creation of a protocol for evaluating the effectiveness of lay research summaries, a poster presentation and a “One Minute Wonder” video. Assisted in planning and executing weekly sessions for the John Bradley Clinical Research Program (JBCRP) at Michael Garron Hospital, in addition to completing the program. Designed, edited and published the proceedings for the JBCRP poster presentation day using Microsoft Publisher.

Resolved issues (i.e. bullying, homesickness, boundary issues, cliques, etc.) within the cabin by assessing the situation, working with co-counsellors and acting in an appropriate manner; resulted in all the campers having a happy and healthy summer. Organized campers at tennis into groups based on their skill set, created lesson plans appropriate to their skill level and facilitated lessons ensuring the needs of every camper was met.
