I am in charge of providing customer service to patrons in the area I am subbing which could be the Young Adult Department or the Children's Department. I answer questions, phone calls, and maintain proper conduct while serving the department I am working in.

I was responsible for answering patron questions along with processing books from around the state of the Maryland and the United States. I was responsible for making sure a delivery of books is sent out each day to MILO/ARLOC. I had to work as a team to make sure all of the days materials is either received or returned. I have experience working with database systems such as Marina, OCLC, and polaris. From this employment I learned how to be organized, patient, and provide accurate communication within the job to have success.

I am in charge of providing customer service to patrons in the children area. I answer questions, phone calls, and maintain proper conduct while staffing the children's desk. I am also in charge of several children's programming including PEEPs, Kids Discover, and the Movie Matinee. These programs require me to be a team player partnering with other coworkers and the Judy Center.
