Under the Student Summer Employment Program, I was hired to update Thrive's Directory of Services: a comprehensive listing of programs and services with a focus on youth in St. John's and surrounding areas. I verified and updated the contents and added new listings, as well as redesigning the Word document. I utilized Microsoft Access to keep records of who I contacted and any updates that had to be made. I also took on other roles when I was needed, such as cooking for the Street Reach program and helping with clean-up. I also contacted individuals to request they present for Thrive Talks, which is a way for non-profit organizations to connect and learn about new programs and services. In addition, I contacted different venues and compiled my correspondence for the Executive Director.
