Lipotoxicity can lead to cell injury and death and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Elucidating the molecular mechanisms of lipotoxicity in the kidney may contribute to the development of new therapeutic strategies for lipid induced disease. -
