IHSS (In Home Support Services) is a government funded in home care program and in this role I provided in home care to someonewith Multiple Sclerosis. My tasks in this role included but weren’t limited to running errands, meal preparation, cleaning,transportation to medical appointments and assistance with medication.

Worked mainly as a cashier in a variety of different departments including customer service, lumber, garden, as well as main lineregister. Processed a large quantity of purchases and returns, provided exemplary customer service and at times worked out onthe sales floor plus other duties as directed. Wrote RWD (recovery without detention) reports whenever theft occurred.

Tutor for AVID Program| Palm Springs, CA | 1/17-6/17Tutored for the AVID program at Palm Springs High School which is a program that helps first generation prospective collegestudents get into college by attempting to eliminate the barriers they may face in this pursuit. Helped with schoolwork and collegeapplications to help increase students’ GPA as well as other challenges they had. Worked with a diverse and at times underservedstudent population.
